Purple Pony is a therapeutic horsemanship program located near Rochester, NY. We provide equine opportunities to persons with disabilities and diverse needs. Purple Pony is affiliated with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Int'l). Lessons are provided by PATH Int'l certified Therapeutic riding instructors. Purple Pony is a 501c3, not for profit organization.

Our Mission

Purple Pony is a therapeutic horsemanship program serving special population needs from ages 4 through late adulthood. The sheltering and training of horses combines with our membership with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (Path Intl.) to provide therapy lessons & equine care education. Our programs are lead by Path Intl. certified instructors and provides the forum for beneficial equine therapy leading to quality of life enhancement through educational recreation.
